Off to the UK for a 48 hour visit and a mini-conference with army chaplains near Grantham - I really am used to frequent air travel and in fact for several years past have regularly flown two or three times a month - I'm fairly laid back about it and take the inevitable delays and hold-ups in my stride along with the over-crowding and dubious credentials of one's fellow travellers - but LUTON airport really does try one's wit and patience. It must be the worst airport in the UK...it is the Kwiksave of airports!

I shall be having a very interesting conversation with the Chaplain General on Tuesday, news of which follows. Meanwhile before my flight from Dortmund this evening its on with the rubber gloves and out with the Pledge - housework time - yeah!
